This new plastic fence has three compelling arguments on its side
- it's easily put up
- there's low risk of injury for wild animals
- any degrading over time is environmentally neutral
Wita Pro's plastic mesh fence with a mesh size of 5 x 5 cm and a maximum height of 2.0 m is suitable protection against fallow and red deer. Wita Pro is made of extruded polypropylene with UV-stabilization and is both extremely robust and stretchy. The protective effect lasts for about 10 years. Subsequently the braid becomes brittle and eventual decomposition is environmentally neutral. If wooden posts are used there is no need to dismantle the old fence. This results in considerable cost savings by eliminating the time-consuming process of wire mesh having to be cut out of ingrown parts. Each roll of plastic mesh fencing is 100 linear metres with a maximum weight of 21 kg / roll. This is about one third of the weight of 100 lm of a light wire version. Thanks to its low weight, Wita Pro can be carried comfortably and used in difficult terrain. Post spacing over normal terrain should not exceed 4m. Game animals cannot get caught up in the close-knit, stretchable plastic braid. However, should any damage occur, repair work by replacing small sections can be carried out at any time.
Caution: the fence is not hare-proof.
