With this set of blades bark is scoured over a width of 6 mm in a trapezoidal shape. The milling depth is adjustable so that even thick bark can be processed successfully. The debarking process helps the trunk to dry out and quickly destroys potential breeding material for bark beetles. If the bark beetle brood is already in the trunk up to the pupa stage, it will be killed. After the pupa stage, debarking is not allowed as the young beetles can then fly out even more easily. The blade set is for the Eder Debarking Tools 10-060, 10-160 and 10-069. Set of 4 blades.
